Portrait Lighting

I am taking a month to experiment with lighting.  Inspired by Dustin Diaz - and his strobist information, I decided that I needed a break to focus on flash set ups and techniques.   I purchased a Rogue 3 in 1 honeycomb grid at the Photo Expo back in October and have been wanting to break it out for a test. 

Here's my first take.  See below for set up.

Here's the set up:

Working with GRID Flash ONLY.  Flash & Grid set up to the LEFT, and reflector directly across to the RIGHT.  I was hoping to have the flash bounce off of the reflector back to me, I can see a little of the result in the back of my hair.    Did I mention it is hard to set up, pose and photograph yourself.
